Sustainability Woven Into Every Stitch

We are an eco-conscious hat brand.

Sustainability is not an afterthought in our process. It is built into every decision we make — from sourcing honest, traceable materials, to reducing water and energy use in production, to designing each hat to last for years of wear.

We use 100% RWS certified Aussie wool.

The Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) is an international certification that ensures wool comes from farms that treat both animals and the land with care.

It guarantees that every step — from sheep to spinning to the final felt — is fully traceable and responsibly managed.

1. Animal Welfare

Sheep must be cared for responsibly — well-fed, healthy, and free to live naturally.

RWS also strictly prohibits mulesing and any harmful handling practices.

2. Environmental Stewardship

RWS-certified farms use progressive land management, protecting soil health, biodiversity and local ecosystems. Grazing must be controlled to prevent overuse of the land.

Responsible Manufacturing, From the Inside Out.

Efficient Use of Energy and Water

Our production partner monitors how energy and water are used each month to ensure resources are not wasted. Usage records are reviewed regularly and reduction opportunities are actively implemented. This includes tracking electricity and natural gas consumption, adjusting equipment and production schedules to reduce waste, and training staff on energy-saving and water conservation practices.

Clean Water Handling and Safe Discharge

During manufacturing, all water used in the process is properly treated before being released. No untreated water is discharged. Water from the facility is processed through the local municipal sewage treatment system, ensuring that it meets legal and environmental standards before returning to the environment.

Minimized Waste, Responsible Disposal

The factory separates recyclable and non-recyclable waste and keeps detailed documentation of the disposal process. Hazardous waste is handled only by licensed waste management providers to ensure safety and compliance. This ensures production waste is controlled — not simply moved elsewhere.

Protecting Local Biodiversity

Beyond resource management, the factory maintains policies that reduce ecological impact, including monitoring raw material usage to avoid unnecessary consumption, avoiding the use of harmful chemicals, and training workers on environmental protection and safe material handling.
